Havering Chamber of Commerce & Industry

portfolio-hcci

Brief

Havering Chamber of Commerce and Industry needed to refresh and revamp their website as part of their re-launch and LGW bid for and won the contract in early-2016.

The website needed to be interactive, easy to update and include features such as a blog, a calendar of events and a members directory which needed to be searchable.

Deliverables;

website built on optimised version of WordPress
custom designed from the ground up
website optimised for keywords
3000 words of professionally-written content
custom slider
lead-capture forms
events calendar showing latest events
searchable members directory
fully mobile-responsive
integrated with Google Maps
Google My Business pages set-up
Google Webmaster Tools set-up and configured
Google analytics configured and installed
Security and back-up plugins installed and configured
Ongoing updates, support and reports

Development

The design and development took about 4 months, which was relatively quick when you consider that the chamber is run by volunteers who give up their time.

Testing the functionality of the calendar and members directory was also time-consuming, but with a lot of hard work on both sides we got there!

Launch

The website was launched in September 2016 to a good reception. Subsequently it has been good to see the website being used by local businesses and has generated many enquiries and functions as an information hub for the chamber and its members.

The Brief

Dan Evans has been a long-time client of LGW and when he started winning business awards decided it was time to make his site look as good as it performed!

The new site had to maintain its conversion rate whilst re-arranging the content layout into something that worked across all screen sizes.

Deliverables;

website built on optimised version of WordPress
custom-designed based on existing
multiple revisions of design and layout
website optimised for local keywords
lead-capture forms
fully mobile-responsive
integrated with Google Maps
Google My Business pages set-up
Google Webmaster Tools set-up and configured
Google analytics configured and installed
Security and back-up plugins installed and configured
able to be maintained by client

Development

There were too many elements on the original site so a lot of the initial work was on teh design and how we could position things better and what was really needed to be above the fold.

It took a number of revisions to get to the final version but was worth the wait as both PC and mobile versions were wonderfully received.

Launch

The site was launched in June 2016 and a few months later we also effected a domain transfer which involves moving te company website to a new domain, redirecting the old URLS and informing Google who will redirect search results.

D & D Rail

Brief

DD Rail are a relatively large railway construction company with hundreds of London building projects under their belt. They write case studies and take photos of all their works and post these on their website so that potential clients can see the work that they do.

They were also keen to showcase their work in a more visual manner, but with so many projects were unsure how this could be achieved.

The site also needed many company pages for the team and all the policies and certifications that are required

Development

To represent their work visually we came up with the idea of an interactive map based on the London Underground system, with the stations they have refurbished represented by 'places pins', together with an info box and a link to the full case-study.

You can see the interactive map here (desktop only) - http://www.ddrail.com/map/

In this project there were also over 100 content pages of case studies and 1500 images that need to be transfered and formatted!

Launch

The site was launched in March 2017.

A project of this size and complexity is never without issues but the end result was extremely well received by the client and the feedback they got back from users was all positive, especially for the interactive map which is unique among their competitors and relly marks them out as a modern forward-thinking company.

We continue to work with DD Rail to maintain and update the website.

UHM Basements

Brief

UHM had an unfinished site up, but also had a good idea of what they actually wanted.

Essentially this was a regular project for LGW - a business site that needed to be visible in Google, generate leads but also look good and display case-studies and images of completed projects.

Development

The development was without problems as LGW have delivered projects like this many times before.

Launch

The site was launched in April 2017 and immedately entered our LOLGS program where the site continues to climb the Google rankings.

Launch

The site launched and immediately began generating leads as it was a replacement of an existing site.

Brief

A long-term client decided it was time to revamp their website which they'd had for three or four years.

Again as a local business for whom results were more important than design and appearance LOLGS was a perfect fit for C & C as it delivers a professional, state-of-the-art website and Google visibility and leads!

Deliverables;

website built on optimised version of WordPress
video-background home page
every service page optimised for keywords
2000 words of professionally-written content
lead-capture forms
fully mobile-responsive
integrated with Google Maps
Google My Business pages set-up
Google Webmaster Tools set-up and configured
Google analytics configured and installed
Security and back-up plugins installed and configured
Ongoing updates, report and promotion

Development

There was a change of brand colours and a new logo which was incorporated into the design.

About 2000 words of additional content was written to beef up what was 'thin' content on service pages. It is necessary to have a reasonable amount of content on pages that you wish to rank as Google prefers sites that are infromative.

Launch

The website was launched in November 2016 and went into the content creation and syndication phase to increase Google visibility and generate leads.
